Four-miles from Nemacolin Woodlands Resort on a 140-acre complex is one of the nation's top sporting clays facilities: The Shooting Academy. 

Featuring 32 sporting clay stations spread across two courses, towers, five stand pavilions with a FITASC layout, The Shooting Academy is open Wednesday - Monday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  The Shooting Academy is closed on Tuesdays during the Fall and Winter months. 

Youth clinics are available on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

First time shooters are guaranteed to break targets with the help of our National Sporting Clay Association (NSCA) certified male and female instructors.  Private lessons for intermediate and advanced shooters are also available by reservation only.

The Shooting Academy Lodge hosts a retail store, banquet facility and full-service pro shop, making it a perfect venue for corporate events.
